Sylvain Fleury

Director, Parliamentary Relations and Planning / Chief Financial Officer

Sylvain Fleury is Director of Parliamentary Relations and Planning and Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining the PBO, he was an analyst in the Economic, Fiscal and Monetary Policy Section of the Library of Parliament for over ten years. In this role, he contributed his expertise to the Senate Standing Committee on National Finance, the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance and the Standing Committee on Government Operations. Previously, Sylvain held the role of Accounting Operations Manager at the Library of Parliament from 2005 to 2010.

Sylvain holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the École des Sciences de la Gestion de l'Université du Québec à Montréal, as well as a Master's degree in Taxation from the Université de Sherbrooke. He has held the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation since 2008.
